The Dual Security of Transport: Physical and Digital as Pillars of Modern Logistics
October 16, 2025 – Madrid
As part of Logistics & Automation Madrid, the Spanish Shippers’ Council (SSC) – Transprime organized a key session titled “The Dual Security of Transport”, which explored how physical and digital security have become strategic pillars for competitiveness within the logistics chain.
The session was moderated by our Secretary General, Jordi Espín, and brought together leading experts from the sector:
- Alfredo Noya Salgueiro (Transporeon)
- Mariuxi Chávez (ORBCOMM)
- Ricardo Lucientes Pastor (Independent Consultant)
- Miriam Ribas (CargoON)
- Juan Pablo Palomares (Consultia IT)
- Fernando Viñuales Buil (ACF Innove)
During the event, participants discussed how to ensure transport and cargo security without compromising efficiency — through technology, digitalization, real-time visibility, and sound operational practices.
The debate highlighted how digital security enables risk anticipation, improves traceability, and strengthens the integrity of logistics operations.
The role of the Shipper of trust Certificate (CCR) was also emphasized as a strategic tool to promote ethical, safe, and transparent logistics, fostering more responsible relationships between shippers and carriers.
💡 Key takeaway:
Security should no longer be viewed as an additional cost, but as an essential added value within a company’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.
SSC would like to thank all speakers, attendees, and partners for their participation and contribution to this event, which reinforces our commitment to a safer, more ethical, and more digital logistics sector.
