Digital Transformation in Transport: A Key Step Toward Efficiency and Sustainability
On October 22nd, 2025, Spanish Shippers’ Council (SSC) – Transprime took part in the conference organized by the Spanish Logistics Centre (CEL), titled “The Challenge of Digitalization in Transport with the Arrival of New European and Spanish Legislations (eFTI and LMS)”, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and Eurecat – Technology Centre of Catalonia.
Our Secretary General, Jordi Espín Vallbona, moderated the roundtable “The Implementation of Digital Tools: The Operational Perspective”, joined by prominent industry leaders:

The discussion focused on how the adoption of digital tools and data systems is transforming logistics operations and regulatory compliance, driving a more connected, efficient, and sustainable supply chain.
Participants highlighted the strategic importance of regulations such as eFTI (Electronic Freight Transport Information) and the Sustainable Mobility Law, which mark a decisive step toward smarter, more transparent transport management in Europe.
At Spanish Shippers’ Council (SSC), we are proud to have contributed to this initiative together with the CEL, continuing to foster collaboration between shippers, operators, and institutions to address the evolving challenges of the logistics ecosystem.
