Spanish Shippers’ Council (SSC) takes part in WISTA International event at World Trade Center Barcelona

On Thursday, October 23rd, Spanish Shippers’ Council (SSC) – Transprime had the pleasure of participating in the event organized by WISTA International at the World Trade Center Barcelona — a key gathering that brought together leading professionals from the maritime and logistics sectors.

In the panel discussion “International Trade Challenges”, our Secretary General, Jordi Espin Vallbona, joined top-level speakers such as Sakura Kuma (Executive Officer of MOL and Managing Director of MOL Asia Oceania), Rachel Noronha (Head of Shipping Policy, International Chamber of Shipping), and Irene Guardiola Lapuente (Guardiola Lawyers, International Trade & Customs), moderated by Marta Prado Larburu, Ph.D., CEO of DS4T.

The session addressed key issues concerning the current challenges of international trade. Among the main takeaways were the shared concern about the impact of #geopolitics on #operations, the need to empower #cargo to ensure its rights, and the importance of maritime transport contributing to a more #efficient supply chain.
