10 Awards for Excellence in Logistics and Transport in the Logistics category
Collaboration is an increasingly necessary element in the field of logistics and transport.
In this field, Transprime Spanish Shippers’ Council has developed a new Shipper of trust certificate in collaboration and with the support of the European Shippers’ Council, which certifies the good logistic behavior and the proper treatment of a company to its workers and collaborators throughout the supply chain.
This innovative certification is based on the universal values of the Manifesto Charter translated into an accreditation format through a logistics certification that validates several basic and essential parameters of the supply chain value chain.
The certificate promotes the distinction of good logistics practices, adherence to universal standards, reliability in logistics processes, service monitoring and social commitment to transparency and compliance with the new logistics human rights regulation, among other aspects.
Likewise, the certification materializes the corporate commitment of the loading companies to good practices through the three fundamental pillars, such as process innovation driven by the new social regulations, benchmarking of logistics modernization and commitment to continuous improvement.
The certification also accredits ethical and responsible behavior in accordance with the new European Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D), which involves the control, accreditation and good governance of logistics behavior throughout its main value chain: the supply chain.
The certificate verifies, along two hundred review points, the good internal and external logistics performance to define the basic points of attention in the world of logistics and transport contracting operations.
- Requirements to become a Shipper of trust
- Comply with all current transportation regulations.
- Implement international standards within its operational processes.
- Seek to have long-lasting relationships with its transportation and logistics service providers.
- Seek the “End to End” efficiency of the transportation chain, ensuring that all links have their “fair-share”.
- Make every effort to minimize the risks associated with transport operations, in particular loading and unloading.
- To offer in its facilities decent safety and health conditions for drivers who have to carry out transport operations in its facilities (or facilities that a 3PL carries out on behalf of the shipper).
- Seek through innovation the sustainability of the transport chain, understood as generating lasting efficiencies for all links in the chain.
- The certificate has two levels. On the one hand, that of Shipper of trust implies compliance with at least 55% of the points of the evaluation conditions, while that of Excellent Shipper of trust implies achieving at least 75% of the different aspects of the list of requirements.
