A truly inspiring day dedicated to exploring the future of responsible logistics, blending strategic insights with industry immersion and peer exchange.<\/p>\n<p>Over\u00a0<strong>40 representatives from member companies<\/strong>\u00a0attended a program structured in three parts:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfe2<\/strong><strong> Part 1: Strategic insights and logistics innovation (09:00 &#8211; 10:45 h)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The day began with a\u00a0<strong>presentation by Joan Carles Mestres<\/strong>, Logistics Manager at Cementos Molins, who introduced the company\u2019s operations, vision and sustainability efforts.<\/p>\n<p>This was followed by two impactful sessions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Marta Torrents<\/strong>\u00a0(Torrents Law &amp; Customs) presented the implications of the upcoming EU\u00a0<strong>CS3D Directive<\/strong>\u00a0on corporate due diligence and its effect on the logistics chain.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Guillem Quintana<\/strong>\u00a0(FACTIC) showcased an AI-based forecasting tool for logistics planning, which captured strong interest among participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfed<\/strong><strong> Part 2: Guided tour of Cementos Molins&#8217; production plant (11:00 &#8211; 13:00 h)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participants toured the cement factory to observe the industrial process up close and gain valuable insight into the company\u2019s sustainability and efficiency measures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udf74<\/strong><strong> Part 3: Networking lunch (13:30 &#8211; 15:00 h)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The day concluded with a networking lunch at\u00a0<strong>El Castell<\/strong>\u00a0restaurant \u2014 a great opportunity for reflection and engagement among SSC members.<\/p>\n<p>We extend our sincere thanks to\u00a0<strong>Cementos Molins<\/strong>\u00a0for their generous hospitality and to all attendees and speakers who made this event a key milestone in SSC\u2019s annual calendar.
