{"id":10977,"date":"2025-02-06T21:13:35","date_gmt":"2025-02-06T19:13:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.transprime.es\/?p=10977"},"modified":"2025-02-06T21:14:26","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T19:14:26","slug":"transprime-spanish-shippers-council-joins-the-renewable-fuels-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.transprime.es\/en\/transprime-spanish-shippers-council-joins-the-renewable-fuels-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"Transprime &#8211; SPANISH SHIPPERS&#8217; COUNCIL joins the Renewable Fuels Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At\u00a0<strong>Transprime &#8211; SPANISH SHIPPERS&#8217; COUNCIL<\/strong>, we believe in the importance of\u00a0<strong>sustainable and responsible transport<\/strong>, capable of reducing its environmental impact without compromising the\u00a0<strong>competitiveness and efficiency<\/strong>\u00a0of the supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>That is why, today,\u00a0<strong>February 3, 2025<\/strong>, we have joined the\u00a0<strong>Renewable Fuels Platform<\/strong>, an initiative that promotes the use of\u00a0<strong>renewable liquid fuels with low or zero CO\u2082 emissions<\/strong>, which are essential for the energy transition in the logistics sector.<\/p>\n<h2>Why is this adhesion important?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Renewable fuels<\/strong>\u00a0enable an\u00a0<strong>immediate reduction in emissions<\/strong>, without the need to replace existing fleets or infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>They are a <strong>key solution for heavy freight transport<\/strong>, where electrification still faces technological and economic challenges.<\/li>\n<li>They <strong>enhance energy security<\/strong>\u00a0and promote the\u00a0<strong>circular economy<\/strong>, supporting industrial development and reducing dependence on traditional fossil sources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Transprime &#8211; SPANISH SHIPPERS&#8217; COUNCIL&#8217;s commitment to responsible logistics<\/h2>\n<p>As an association, we promote initiatives that contribute to the\u00a0<strong>sustainability and transformation of the sector<\/strong>.
